Bundaberg and Boatwork! River anchorage!

October-November 2023, after arrival in Australia, it is time to get the boat ready for haul out into dry storage for the upcoming cyclone season. In between, we couldn’t resist a few sailing adventures to Lady Musgrave island at the bottom of the Great Barrier Reef and also a few days anchored off Fraser island, or K’gara as it is now known. Australia has an amazing coastline to explore! Other than that, plenty boat work while anchored in the Burnette river, near Bundaberg marina. It was also the end of the Down Under Rally with seminars and cruiser get-togethers, for almost a week.
