Boat Overheated | Part 1 | Ep 39

Imaging heading out with friends for a nice day on the water when suddenly your boat gets covered on smoke… quick thinking saves the boat and all her crew. After the boat is towed to safety, it’s time to find and fix the source of the problem. In this episode of SOLITUDE AND SAILING we look for what and why the boat overheated. There’s no video of the actual event due priority of caring for the safety of my crew and my vessel. In an emergency, the cameras are off and the focus is on safety. I am not a mechanic and this is not a DYI. I am merely going through what I did to diagnose my motor. Repairs to your boat should be done by a qualified mechanic.
