Boat Life Things: SAILBOAT VINYL REMOVAL l Ep.12 In this episode we take a walk along the Marina wall and show you some serious dredging issues! We then tackle our next sailboat job; to remove the old boat name, Tzigane, ready for our new sailboat vinyls; "Indiana"! We have to tackle some heavy oxidation removal and show you how to remove oxidation from a 30+ year old boat. We talk you through the products used; oxidation remover, polish and wax, and the step by step process. We use a random orbit sander and a combination of different grades of sand paper to start, we then move onto our oxidation remover rubbing compound, polish and then finish off with a bit of wax. She looks good as new and we cannot wait to get our new vinyls on in the next few weeks!!
