Best Drift Dive in Amed. Scuba Dive Bunutan Reef

Bunutan Reef is surely the best drift dive in Bali. Although this dive site can be a shore dive, most dive centre in Bali choose to do this dive from a boat. The main reason is some less experienced divers will not be able to dive this entire reef with a single tank. So a boat dive is the best option. The dive starts on a sandy slope with a huge amount of garden eels. As the current starts to pick up, the reef also start to appear. This dive site could easily have been named Sea Fan Alley or Giant Sponge Alley. The amount of sea fans and giant sponges on this reef is remarkable. Along with the stunning coral and sponges, there are a large number of colourful reef fish too.
