Battery Replacement with OBDII to save settings and "Solar" Tester 996 DIY

Hi Everyone, Today we replace the battery in our 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo X50. It was a fantastic opportunity to test out my new Solar BA5 Battery Tester. The battery that is in the car is several years old and is weeping acid. The Solar confirmed it was on its way out. For the battery change I use an OBDII memory saver which allows us to power the car’s un-switched power circuits during the battery swap so there is no memory loss in any of the computer modules. Super easy to use and saves lots of time!
