Autoprop feathering sailboat propellers can be serviced by the owner. This short video, part one in a series of two shows you how to dismantle an Autoprop H5 roller bearing tab washer propeller ready for rebuilding. Dr. Roderick Sampson of King Propulsion explains each part of the process, the tools you need and how to make some of your own. The second and final video in the series will show you how to assemble and torque the blades.
