All ALONE in a famous grotto in the Bahamas ep. 65

In this episode we find ourselves All ALONE in a famous grotto in the Bahamas. Before we get head south to Staniel Cay, Exuma, Bahamas, we decided to break out the pole spear and do a some fishing. Brandy snorkeled around while I went on the hunt for grouper. It had been a while since we caught any fish and I have never caught a grouper until now! It was a big'en too. It took me a few tries but I finally got him out of his hiding spot. Now that the freezer is full of grouper and the wind has picked up, we pull anchor, raise the sails and get headed south to Staniel. Since we only have the 100% jib out we put a reef in the mainsail. Our reefing system is outdated but gets the job done. We plan to get slab or jiffy reefing soon but for now we'll stick with the roller boom furling. We have an amazing, fast sail. Once anchored, we headed into town to get some free wifi and provision a few veggies and essentials, including some of the famous Loraine's Mom's coconut bread. The next day we go explore the Thunderball Grotto. Thankfully we had the place to ourselves since the current was too strong for most tourist to visit. The Thunderball Grotto is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!
