Did you know the most common call for help at sea is running out of fuel? Before leaving, always ask yourself: how many miles will I cover? The Absolute 56 Fly is built for long journeys, but smart fuel planning is key. Forget just looking at liters per hour – the real measure is liters per mile. Multiply that by your planned distance, then add at least 30% extra to cover unexpected factors: wind and currents, a change of course, or even a sudden load on the engine if the propeller grabs something.
