ABANDONED FRENCH MINE IN MEXICO [Adventure #75]

Wandering around the old town of Santa Rosalía we find an incredible abandoned copper mining operation. Founded in the 1800’s by the French El Boleo company, the old foundry building, among many others has been completely abandoned, although we discover the mine is still in operation. Here, we try to survive the scorching summer heat, refilling our drinking water, getting a part welded for our sailboat and taking in the town’s history. And...
