A NAIL BITER finish! Cruisers Regatta 2020 [EP 103]

After splashing back in the water from a recent haul out, we decide that our cutlass bearing replacement has solved our strange underwater noise problem that we were having. The next day, overdue for some fun, we take part in a Cruisers Regatta. Put together by local cruisers as part of Carriacou Sailing Regatta, we all don our team t-shirts and hitch a ride on Adrianna 1, a 49ft Hunter owned by our friends Craig and Zena. Another 20 boats turn up for the race and as the starting horn blows we being the race around the island of Carriacou. A few rain squalls and sail changes later, we make the final turn into the bay and towards the finish line. Having been in the lead for most of the race, we're sure we've got this in the bag... until we hit a patch of calm and the catamaran behind us starts making ground.
