A Flooded Bilge!! Cruisers To The Rescue – Sailing L’Attitude – Ep 48

We leave the island of Maupiti (the best place ever) and embark on our 1200nm crossing to Tonga. 20miles in we are struck with a bilge full of water! We go to turn around and are hailed by other cruisers in our vicinity who offer to fill us in the next atoll, Maupihaa (which has absolutely NO services), out of the goodness of their hearts. Thanks to the lovely people that we met and made our disaster into a new adventure. We will be forever grateful.
