99: TROPICAL VS. CHINESE COVID QUARANTINE: Similarities and Differences

Are there any similarities between our St. Lucia quarantine and our China quarantine? Our two-week quarantine started upon our arrival on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, where our sailboat is undergoing phase out at the Moorings base. This is our second monitored quarantine in the past 9 months. The first was in Qingdao, China back in March, and the two quarantines have many more differences than similarities some of which we will highlight in this video. The quarantine in St. Lucia is basically staying in an all-inclusive resort for two weeks and enjoying all that resort life has to offer from BINGO nights and live entertainment to motorized and non-motorized water toys and island excursions. We are SO glad that we had our China quarantine first and THEN the St. Lucia quarantine. If the reverse, it would have been quite a challenge to endure! The Bay Garden Hotels have been wonderful and we are thankful to have found them in the 30 or so island-approved quarantine hotels.
