#6 | A Sailing Passage From Tréguier To Dún Laoghaire Across The English Channel and the Irish Sea

Our longest non-stop offshore trip on Polaris so far, 334nm, 53h from Tréguier across the English Channel, around Land's End, through Bristol Channel and parts of the Irish Sea to Dublin. One could get the impression that Kathrin was sleeping all the time... well, not true, she was doing her watches too. We had a large pod of dolphins playing with Polaris for a long time in the Bristol Channel. The conditions were mostly OK with wind on the beam as strong as Force 8 at times during the night, but Polaris, our trusted Bavaria Cruiser 46, coped very well. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and sunrises and got caught by the magic of the oceans.
