46' Solar Catamaran horizon

The new 46ft Horizon SC46 solar catamaran combines eco-friendly technology, luxury and elegant design. The yacht was built in collaboration with SolarWaterWorld AG -- a German company that designs, develops and manufactures solar systems and accessories for boat use, for example, the upgrading and conversion of conventional boats and ships. Styled by megayacht designer Juan Carlos Espinosa, the Horizon SC46 is equipped with all amenities of a high-class motor yacht. It is also integrated with state-of-the-art green boat technology with an ultra low resistance and drift dynamic catamaran hull design, which ensures efficient handling characteristics and security in all situations. High efficient battery packages store sufficient energy required for propulsion, mooring, and overall boating activities. The first Horizon SC46's roof is fitted with 6kW of solar panel, and can cruise eight hours and more. The yacht features a saloon with fully equipped entertainment system, a galley with electric stove and refrigerator, dinette, a helm station, and an owner's stateroom with ensuite head and shower. Following the first Horizon SC46 solar yacht, Horizon will ship the next SC46 as a commercial passenger vessel. This commercial passenger SC46 will feature the same streamlined exterior profile, with a wider hull to provide more room for passengers. Modern interior will be provided to complement its exterior style. The vessel will be fitted with a large entertainment lounge and bar on main deck. Huge windows will increase the available views of SC46 passenger besides offering better natural lighting.
