43 - Sailing Down to Fiji's Astrolabe Reef

It wasn't a long sail, but Kyle proved to be just the good luck charm we needed to end our fishing drought as he reeled in a delicious mahi-mahi. The Astrolab Reef area is one of the more remote parts of Fiji and we had to do our first kava ceremony in order to receive permission from the local chief to anchor off the island of Dravuni. After a few cups of kava, we were all feeling quite relaxed and ready to enjoy all the hiking and swimming we could pack in to the rest of Kyle's trip!
