37 MAKE MY DAY- Crossing the Bay of Biscay

In this episode we cross the Bay of Biscay from Camaret sur Mer, France to A Coruña, Spain. It is our longest offshore, open water crossing to date. 366 nm. It took us nearly 3 full days and nights. The Bay of Biscay is notorious for strong winds, big seas and harsh weather. I guess it went on summer holiday when we got there because, there was little to no wind and the seas were not harsh. Better than the alternative but, we motored more than we sailed. All in all it was a pleasant experience but, we would have preferred to sail. We arrived in A Coruña in the dark and had the anchor set at 6AM. Rewarded with a well deserved anchor beer/wine. It's 5 o'clock somewhere. Music by Troy and Paula Haag Hope you enjoy it.
