32 MAKE MY DAY- Last preparations before leaving

In this video we finish off some last projects before we leave to head out on our voyage south. Among the projects is a new solar panel array that was the idea of Leontien. It was born out of an idea to make a sunshade for the cockpit but Leontien thought that it could also function as a way to install additional solar panels. 6 x 175 watts. A significant increase. We also did some courses to help us out along the way. The first was a welding course so that we learned the basics. And we also had a first aid onboard course to teach us basic medical skills. Hopefully we never need to use them! We also do our last dinghy ride through the canals of Amsterdam. It's our way of saying farewell to the city that has been our homebase for the last year. The time line can be measured by the growth of the baby swans in the Amsterdam Marina. Music by Troy and Paula Haag
