25. Montgomery Canal

As I'm prepping for my first voyage next week, I found a day to walk some of the Montgomery Canal, a disused canal straddling the Shropshire-Wales border. It's a lovely canal that is undergoing restoration, and some is open to boats again, although not the section I walked. I wasn't sure when I was filming which bits were open so watch until then end for the correct info when I show you a map! Other things that have happened this week: I've bought grease for my prop, attached my fenders, booked an engine service, tidied out the shed, and ordered some new mooring ropes! Still a lot to do before Ganymede moves for the first time but it's all go until the big day!
