22 - Passage to Fiji Part 2

In this video, we continue our passage from Tahiti to Fiji. We fly the lightweight asymmetrical spinnaker sail. We catch a beautiful mahi mahi almost losing the reel in the process. The weather stays mostly agreeable for the rest of the passage and we get some cellular signal off of Tonga on the way by. Finally, we arrive in Savusavu Bay in Fiji and get a great escort and welcome from the Fiji Navy, who bring us fruit, beer, and pizza while we wait in the quarantine anchorage for the results of our COVID tests. Finally we get off the boat and clear arrival customs and biosecurity before getting our Blue Lane flag and cruising permit, in preparation for onward travels. Thanks for following!
