When in doubt, trust the experts! We left our anchorage in bad weather on the officials’ recommendation and headed out to deeper water, where we drifted for several hours until the tsunami warning was cancelled. Now we’re making our way back slowly as conditions allow. With 30 knots of wind on the nose, progress is cold, wet, and slow— we’re safe from the tsunami threat, now just dealing with this storm. 😅 #boatlife #sailingaroundtheworld #tsunamiwarning #tonga #storm #southpacific
