Ahoy! We're leaving the Eagle Point marina to sail down wind to our marina in Lake Dallas. Cyndi and I, have come this far to try our hand at a wing-on-wing sail plan, after an easterly beam reach , then a waywardly sail. We had a great time practicing the training run and the down-wind sail setup. Hello and welcome to the Sailing the East podcast. This is our podcast about sailing and cruising the East coast of the United States. In some episodes we will focus on passages and destinations, in other episodes, we will talk about boats, equipment, and techniques, and when we come across an interesting person, we will try to get them as a guest on the show. When Mike and I get together, to record a podcast, before we hit the RECORD button, we typically have a conversation about what's going on in our lives and the world. It’s basically, two good friends catching up. Back in EP 39, Mike and I did an experiment and we hit the record button as soon as our conversation started.
