We take hike to Elk Falls Park to witness maximum dam spill over the falls.
We set sail from Bangor, Northern Ireland, kicking off a two-week journey through the western isles of Scotland. Our first destination: the island of Gigha, where we planned to anchor in the little-known Craro Bay. With unusually calm conditions in the Irish Sea, we hugged the coast more closely than usual, passed by the island of Muck, and crossed the infamous Mull of Kintyre—only to receive an unexpected emergency call on the radio. When we finally reached our anchorage... we realised we weren’t quite as alone as we’d thought. An episode full of stunning scenery, unexpected encounters, absolute calm… and a touch of humour on board. And if a certain melody pops into your head while crossing the Mull of Kintyre… you’re not alone. Paul McCartney wrote a song of the same name, inspired by this very place where he lived for years, surrounded by the wind, the sea, and the solitude he loved. Have a listen: [Mull of Kintyre – Wings](https://youtu.be/T7stAvclxX4?si=0GfY5jnKu6QBD5Yq) Don't forget to subscribe to follow the rest of the adventure! Home Port Docking! Our training ends with the Admiral bringing the boat back to our Home Dock.
We did our prep work for a short journey and all predictions said we would be going into the wind and waves but that waves would start at 2 ft on 4 sec and go to 1 1/2 ft on 4 seconds. We thought that would be good for a motor for a 2 1/2 hour journey. The Predictions were wrong and we got much larger waves. Just made the journey a little bit more rocky than expected.

I’m checking in at 6 and 7 weeks after planting seeds to share with you the growth! We’ve had some successes and for the most part I’m feeling optimistic. The cilantro is struggling a bit, but I’m hoping it will pull through after the roots become more established after being repotted. #boatgarden #greenthumb #seeds
