Call of the Sea turned 40 this year and continues its mission of providing life changing on the water experiences to underserved youth. They celebrated by throwing a party that included touring the ships and providing free educational activities, tours of the Bay Model, old time tunes by local favorites the Waterfront Pickers, a youth choir singing sea shanties in pirate costumes, educational activities by the Sailing Science Center, and community representation by Spaulding Marine Center and the Sausalito Working Waterfront!

We've escaped the boatyard! After a paint party with Seahawk - three rounds of Tuff Stuff to keep the barnacles from crashing the party, and three rounds of Biocop tf because cleaning the bottom is so last season - we're ready to hit the water. We even gave our prop and shaft a propglide makeover, because why not? Westland Marina, our trusty DIY yard, is the place to be - live, work, and get advice from the pros (and friendly customers).
