► Ordinarily, new Leopard models are first presented in the United States, but this time, the Cannes Yachting Festival is charged with hosting the new Leopard 52, the replacement for the 50, for its first viewing by the public. This catamaran has been designed to satisfy both owners and charterers with layouts incorporating 3 to 6 cabins. The 52 retains the watertight forward door introduced in 2010 but features a fully open saloon and aft cockpit. Efforts have been made to optimize performance with a 17% increase in sail area compared to the 50 and a slightly lower weight (around 183 lbs/83 kg less).
