As veteran sailors know, sailing a performance catamaran with daggerboards is a thrill. The catamaran points as close into the wind as a monohull when sailing upwind, will sail in a whisper of a breeze, can tack on a dime and will perform at breakneck speed in the right conditions.  But it’s not all about sailing super-fast for cruising sailors. Das MEHR an Flexibilität - From Familycruisung to Clubracing Die neue Sunbeam 29.1 ist mit einem hydraulischen Schwenkkiel ausgestattet. Optional ist der Kiel auch elektrisch per Knopfdruck komfortabel aus dem Cockpit stufenlos verstellbar. Damit reagieren wir auf niedrige Wasserstände und bieten den Eignern maximale Flexibilität bei der Wahl ihres Segelreviers. Mit einer Länge von 9 Metern und einer Breite von 2,5 Metern ist das Boot einfach trailerbar. Durch den hydraulischen Schwenkkiel, der einen Minimaltiefgang von 85cm aufweist, steht das Boot tief auf dem Trailer und garantiert somit eine entspannte und sichere Fahrt ans Ziel. Sie können mit der neuen SUNBEAM 29.1 auch dort Ankern wo andere gar nicht hinkönnen. MEHR Interieur - Modulares Interior Concept. Optional ist die neue Sunbeam 29.1 mit einem Pantry- und einem Nasszellenmodul erhältlich. Der Clou an der Sache ist, dass diese Module auch nachgerüstet werden können. Das hat mehrere Vorteile. Das Boot passt sich dadurch an sich ändernde Kundenbedürfnisse an und bietet auch bei einem späteren Wiederverkauf dem neuen Eigner die Möglichkeit der weiteren Individualisierung. MEHR an Performance. Der Schwenkkiel bietet nicht nur das mehr an Flexibilität, sondern auch mit seinen maximalen 1,85 Metern Tiefgang das entsprechende MEHR an Segelperformance. Diese wird durch die Doppelruderanlage und Pinnensteuerung unterstrichen. Das Resultat ist ein hervorragendes Handling bei maximaler Kontrolle und Agilität. Die Kombination aus Squaretop Großsegel und Selbstwendefock bietet die perfekte Kombination aus Performance und Komfort mit einer maximalen Segelfläche am Wind von 48qm. Auf Vorwindkursen kann am integrierten Bugspriet ein rollbarer Gennaker oder ein Code-Zero angeschlagen werden. Auf Wunsch ist die neue Sunbeam 29.1 natürlich auch mit Laminatssegel und einem Carbonmast erhältlich. MEHR an Komfort und Mehr Platz Alle Fallen und Leinen sind unter Deck zum Steuermann geführt und ermöglichen dadurch ein entspanntes Einhandsegeln bei einer cleanen Optik. Alles ist aufgeräumt und hat seinen Platz. Stolperfallen werden dadurch eliminiert. Die Winschen im Cockpit sind auch in einer elektrischen Version erhältlich. Zudem bieten wir für den Bugspriet eine elektrische Ankerlösung an. Auch der Autopilot ist komfortabel integriert und unter Deck eingebaut. Durch unser Open Cockpit Concept generieren wir das MEHR an nutzbarem Platz an Deck mit einer integrierten Badeplattform inklusive Badeleiter im Heck. Als Alternative zum Teak als Decksbelag verwenden wir nun schon seit mehreren Jahren Resysta auf unseren Yachten. Es besteht aus Reishülsen und Mineralsalzen und ist somit ein Naturprodukt, welches aus ungenutzten Teilen der Lebensmittelindustrie hergestellt wird. Im Decksaufbau ist eine definierte Fläche für Solarpaneel vorgesehen um während dem Segeln Instrumente, Kühlschrank und Radio mit Energie zu versorgen. Somit ist man quasi Energieautark unterwegs. Sein Vater und sein Onkel sind gerade in Belize City, um den Fang der letzten Woche zu verkaufen. Ungefähr 800 Stück wie er stolz erzählt. Abgerechnet wird jedoch nach Gewicht und da ein Lobster im Schnitt ein Pfund wiegt, sind 800 Pfund auch ungefähr 800 Tiere. Die noch lebenden Tiere werden insbesondere in die Vereinigten Staaten aber auch nach Süd-Korea und nach Spanien exportiert. Rodrigo zeigt uns das Camp und erzählt vom Hurrikan Lisa, der alles vollkommen zerstört hat. Lisa kam mitten in der Lobstersaison, die vom Anfang Juli bis Ende April dauert. Ein großer Verlust für Rodrigo und seine Familie, die eigentlich in Sarteneja unweit dem mexikanischen Chetumal lebt. Rodrigo möchte uns seine Welt zeigen und lädt uns zu einer Bootstour ein. Wir fahren auf die andere Seite der Insel durch kleine Wasserwege in versteckte Lagoonen. Die Hoffnung Krokodile und Manatees zu sehen, erfüllt sich zwar nicht, wir beobachten jedoch Kormorane und Pelikane. Endlich verstehen wir, was die überall im Wasser steckenden Äste bedeuten.
