The Finnsailer 35 project initially aimed to undergo a complete electric conversion, along with the addition of a new pilot house and a spacious open interior ideal for living and cruising around the Greek islands. This ambitious endeavor requires someone unafraid of challenges, possessing a passion for problem-solving, and genuinely dedicated to realizing their dream of a custom-made boat. The boat features a robust hull and well-maintained rigging, including a roller boom. Notably, the interior offers impressive headroom for its size, with a height of 195 cm, while the new pilot house provides even greater space at 205 cm. The pilot house, constructed entirely from fiberglass, features a new sliding door. Due to the poor condition of the old motor, it has been removed, although there is potential for restoration. The outdated interior has been stripped away, and the hull was meticulously cleaned of mold before being treated with epoxy primer. A new large bed has been installed using aluminum industrial profiles, and a wooden ramp has been constructed to facilitate ease of access during renovations. Hier tanken wir auf, denn die endlose Fahrt Richtung Osten und damit gegen die vorherrschenden Ostwinde habt uns viel Diesel gekostet. Nicaragua Von Guanaja nach Panama werden wir 7 Tage und 6 Nächte unterwegs sein. Eine anstrengende Fahrt gegen den Wind und wie sich herausstellt gegen starke Strömungen. Zudem gilt die Küste von Nicaragua als von Piraten verseucht - sozusagen Gelegenheitspiraterie. Wenn man einem der vielen Fischerboote begegnet und die Fischer gerade schlecht drauf sind, überfallen sie gerne vorbeifahrende Boote. Nachts machen wir uns daher unsichtbar.
