Here is a yacht that will give you and possibly your mates options. Pearl very kindly invited me back for a sea trial of the 95 which unfortunatley gor cancelled due to the weather but I was still able to spend a few hours touring and discovering this 30m yacht that could be perfect for some of you guys stepping into your first fully crewed vessel. This layout lends itself very nicely to charter operations and you also have the option to spec it up with what looks to me like two master cabins if you choose. So imagine going 50/50 with your mate on this boat and sharing your time over summer, how cool would that be! I first discovered Pearl Yachts at the Cannes Boat Show last year when I had a tour of the 62 and 95 in their range. I was fortunate to be invited on the press day for this new Pearl Yachts 72 over in Palma, Mallorca which is an amazing little island in the Med and part of Spain. This British brand is taking the competition to Princess and Sunseeker by producing a very high quality build at a cheaper price by utilizing their manufacturing facility in China. I've seen this before with an Australian Whitehaven Yachts built in Taiwan and I have to say they have come out with an excellent product that does meet the European brands head on in terms of quality. Sure it won't have the brand recognition that Princess & Sunseeker enjoy in Australia but the cost savings are real and the argument to put a vessel like this into charter is also a solid one. They have already sold their first Pearl 62 into Sydney so expect to see more about this interesting company downunder very soon!
