The Lahakai sailboat is a 34” custom built steel sailboat, made in 1997 in France and sailed all the way to the shores of Brazil. It was then brought to Niteroi where she sat completely neglected in a boat club for 10 years. And that’s when we found her! Finally! The Wild Thing 100 grapevine helped us capture her arriving through Sydney Heads this morning (Sunday), this time with her sails up. Sailing down from Queensland over the last 24 hours, her AIS showed her clocking some solid speeds. But sadly the breeze panned out as she approached Sydney Heads and the 100 footer turned from Wild Thing to Mild Thing! @cruisingyachtclubofaustral1612 @Rolex #wildthingyachting

Here is a cool storm we caught a quick time lapse of. This video spans about an hour overall, but is pretty short due to the exposure lengths. We almost ruined this one by leaving the lens stabilizer on, but were able to smooth it out! Equipment: Canon 7D with Magic Lantern Wide Angle Lens Photoshop (Post Production) Premiere Pro (Warp Stabilizer to remove lens stabilizer shake)
