The Lahakai sailboat is a 34” custom built steel sailboat, made in 1997 in France and sailed all the way to the shores of Brazil. It was then brought to Niteroi where she sat completely neglected in a boat club for 10 years. And that’s when we found her! Giornata importante al cantiere Maxi Dolphin. Lo scafo in carbonio-epoxy e anima in Corecell del nuovo MD62ab, il 62 piedi (18,90 metri) progettato dall’architetto argentino Alejandro Bottino, è stato estratto dallo stampo dopo la laminazione sottovuoto e la cottura a 60° C nel forno del cantiere. Dopo l’allestimento degli interni verrà posta la coperta, anche questa in carbonio, e già realizzata, come tutti i componenti, dalle maestranze Maxi Dolphin. Consegna prevista dell’MD62ab a fine novembre 2019.
