In this video we’re sailing upwind in 35+ knots of breeze in Johnstone Strait during the VanIsle360 race with a double-reefed main sail and storm jib. A crew member is on the foredeck securing the #3 jib we had previously been flying in the short video https://youtube.com/shorts/VRAEp8M49Y4, but ripped in half. The head literally ripped right off. He is wearing a harness and tether! The sky is completely blue, but everybody is still completely soaked from the spray. Lots of sails were destroyed in that leg, including the #3 jib that is now on the foredeck. With code0 and full mainsail in light winds boat speed almost reaches wind speed. Will try to do more test sail on different angles and sail setups to reach that wind speed :) New and more accurate electronics (B&G) installed on the boat. This should help to make better measurements in the future.
