Korte broek Opprett

In this video we’re sailing upwind in 35+ knots of breeze in Johnstone Strait during the VanIsle360 race with a double-reefed main sail and storm jib. A crew member is on the foredeck securing the #3 jib we had previously been flying in the short video https://youtube.com/shorts/VRAEp8M49Y4, but ripped in half. The head literally ripped right off. He is wearing a harness and tether! The sky is completely blue, but everybody is still completely soaked from the spray. Lots of sails were destroyed in that leg, including the #3 jib that is now on the foredeck. Komodo is one of Indonesia's oldest marine sanctuaries, arguably the most popular, and since 1991 has been identified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This esteemed declaration has kept the Komodo area, from mountain tops to the reefs, in an immaculate condition where the local wildlife continues to thrive and surge in population and beauty.
