Fast sailing in my 1987 Precision 16 sailing dinghy at Cherry Creek Reservoir near Denver, Colorado. The Precision 16 is a lightweight Stephen Seaton-designed un-ballasted centerboard sailing dinghy with a planing hull manufactured from 1982 until the mid 90s. It was superseded in 1995 by the smaller Jim Taylor-designed Precision 15 (P-15CB and P-15K). We have been so busy with Mountain Myst lately that we haven't updated you on our Seawind in a while! The build is nearing completion and we hope to be sailing the Bahamas again early 2023. We found ourselves docked next to a Seawind 1260 and had the chance to film a little tour for you. Our boat is going to look so similar and we are SO EXCITED.
