Fast sailing in my 1987 Precision 16 sailing dinghy at Cherry Creek Reservoir near Denver, Colorado. The Precision 16 is a lightweight Stephen Seaton-designed un-ballasted centerboard sailing dinghy with a planing hull manufactured from 1982 until the mid 90s. It was superseded in 1995 by the smaller Jim Taylor-designed Precision 15 (P-15CB and P-15K). While warranty continued on our Leopard 45 catamaran we flew to the United States to give JS Marine the chance to work inside the starboard hull without anyone living there. While we were there, we were lucky enough to experience the first snows in Michigan; snowball fights and snowman building ensued!
