Fast sailing in my 1987 Precision 16 sailing dinghy at Cherry Creek Reservoir near Denver, Colorado. The Precision 16 is a lightweight Stephen Seaton-designed un-ballasted centerboard sailing dinghy with a planing hull manufactured from 1982 until the mid 90s. It was superseded in 1995 by the smaller Jim Taylor-designed Precision 15 (P-15CB and P-15K). The Vineyard Cup hosted by Sail Martha's Vineyard achieved Platinum Level Clean Regattas Certification. This is no easy feat, and impressively they've also become a zero-waste event, with all food sourced locally on Martha's Vineyard. Sail Martha's Vineyard has been working towards this achievement since 2010 when they started using the Clean Regattas program!
