🪢 Sunday Boat Tip [27/52] 🪢 There’s so many horror stories out there with boats having to clean their diesel tanks in the worst imaginable situation after the engine stoped working at an even worse moment. We figured we play it safe and try to prevent it as much as we can after finding a piece of plastic that blocked the system causing our engine to stop outside of Anholt (just after we left Sweden). You can never be totally safe from diesel bugs, specially fueling up in remote places, but you can diminish the risks. Also make sure you protect yourself and the environment by avoiding spill! Only discharge of the residues in a designated place. Some so-so footage of one of the seals we saw on today's outing. The seal is that black ball in the upper right portion of the frame. At about the 30 second mark he dives and you can see the shape of his body, which looks like a big fat black sausage. The footage isn't so great, but we were close enough that we could clearly make out his the features of his face, and could tell he was looking at us; probably as curious about us as we were about him!
