ЁЯкв Sunday Boat Tip [27/52] ЁЯкв ThereтАЩs so many horror stories out there with boats having to clean their diesel tanks in the worst imaginable situation after the engine stoped working at an even worse moment. We figured we play it safe and try to prevent it as much as we can after finding a piece of plastic that blocked the system causing our engine to stop outside of Anholt (just after we left Sweden). You can never be totally safe from diesel bugs, specially fueling up in remote places, but you can diminish the risks. Also make sure you protect yourself and the environment by avoiding spill! Only discharge of the residues in a designated place. Sadly the shop closed in early 2018 after serving the boating community of North Wales from Conwy Marina for more than 20 years. Let this video be a reminder no matter how good you are at keeping a marine shop stocked, sometimes things go against you, and it is time to move on. Let's dedicate the video to all the staff who worked hard to make this place work over the years. We had lots of fun. I could write a book! (Rob Woodward).

On Wednesday 5th December we headed north to Algies Bay to check out the RNZYS Performance Program's Foiling Camp. Led by coach Graeme Sutherland, the program gives opportunities to the next generation of foiling sailors to work on their skills.
