At Sirius, we build our yachts to last you many decades. With longevity comes maintenance and repairs. Our yachts are built with ease of ownership in mind, and this is why, if you need to remove a hidden deck fitting we’ve attached, there will be GRP packing around the nuts below the deck. Not only does this prevent any ingress of water around the fitting, it means that any bolt or machine screw can be removed and replaced on your own, and without having to remove any of the interior. Anyone who has unscrewed a bolt, and heard the tell-tale clatter of a nut falling off, will know the sinking realisation that a quick job has now become a long job. The headlining and possibly parts of the interior will need to be removed to access the bolt. We never want that to happen to you. There may be times when deck fittings need to be repaired or replaced. Το Women in Yachting Conference σχεδιάστηκε από την ONDECK Events με στόχο να γίνει ένα δυναμικό βήμα διαλόγου, έμπνευσης και συνεργασιών. Αναδείχθηκε η ανάγκη για: πολιτικές που στηρίζουν τη γυναικεία επιχειρηματικότητα, ευκαιρίες κατάρτισης και mentoring, εργασιακά περιβάλλοντα που προάγουν τη συμπερίληψη, δίκαιη εκπροσώπηση σε ηγετικές θέσεις, ενίσχυση της ορατότητας νέων γυναικείων προτύπων. Οι συζητήσεις των πάνελ, από τις πρωτοπόρες που άνοιξαν δρόμους σε έναν απαιτητικό χώρο, μέχρι τις νέες επαγγελματίες της τεχνολογίας, του σχεδιασμού και της βιωσιμότητας, ανέδειξαν τον καταλυτικό ρόλο των γυναικών στο μέλλον του κλάδου. Ένα συνέδριο που ανοίγει νέους ορίζοντες Η ONDECK Events δεσμεύεται να συνεχίσει και να επεκτείνει τον θεσμό, θέτοντας τις βάσεις για ακόμη πιο στοχευμένες δράσεις τα επόμενα χρόνια. GIORNO 33 - Traversata sulla SARDEGNA (Parte 3) Ebbene sí, con l’alba all’orizzonte avvistiamo la costa sud della Sardegna! La prua è sul golfo di Cagliari, ma con la scusa di fare gasolio, facciamo un salto al benzinaio di Villasimius. Una doccia al volo, un pieno al serbatoio del carburante e ci mettiamo all’ancora fuori dalla marina per un pranzo e un tuffo. Commento? CHE ACQUA. La bellezza di questa terra vista dal mare è impressionante. Desiderosi di assaggiare i piatti tipici sardi e dare una lavata alla barca, continuiamo verso Cagliari, dove ormeggiamo e scendiamo a terra in cerca di un negozio nautico per innovazioni a bordo. Passeggiando ci perdiamo tra i vicoli della città e vediamo quanto sia diverso dalla Sicilia che prima di partire ci sembrava così vicina e, invece, abbiamo scoperto così lontana. La luna piena di questa notte ci rimarrà nel cuore per molto tempo, è stata un faro delicato che illumina la rotta senza abbagliarti. L’unica luce compatibile con una pupilla ben dilatata per il buio della notte. Sardegna, cara Sardegna! Quanta strada per raggiungerti. Ma non ci sarebbe stato benvenuto migliore della base operativa di Luna Rossa ad aspettarci dietro al nostro pontile.
