At Sirius, we build our yachts to last you many decades. With longevity comes maintenance and repairs. Our yachts are built with ease of ownership in mind, and this is why, if you need to remove a hidden deck fitting we’ve attached, there will be GRP packing around the nuts below the deck. Not only does this prevent any ingress of water around the fitting, it means that any bolt or machine screw can be removed and replaced on your own, and without having to remove any of the interior. Anyone who has unscrewed a bolt, and heard the tell-tale clatter of a nut falling off, will know the sinking realisation that a quick job has now become a long job. The headlining and possibly parts of the interior will need to be removed to access the bolt. We never want that to happen to you. There may be times when deck fittings need to be repaired or replaced. Seit April 2023 leben und arbeiten wir, Sarah und Michael, an Bord unserer Segelyacht Lilo und segeln in der Ostsee zu den schönsten Orten. Mit dabei sind unsere beiden Fellnasen Trishi und Merlin, die ebenfalls das Segeln für sich entdeckt haben und uns bei unseren Touren auf dem Wasser und an Land stets begleiten. Da wir nicht nur segeln möchten, sondern ebenfalls die Menschen und die Länder rund um die Ostsee kennenlernen möchten, sind wir eher gemütlich unterwegs.
