“What would you do if you could freely choose?” I took this picture of myself roughly 15 years ago. It was the day that I turned my life upside down. It was the moment I realized: staying in my 'old life' would hurt more than risking everything for the life I actually wanted. I have not regretted this decision. I surely have struggled on this path, but I’m still out here—still learning, still sailing, still choosing the unknown. Because this is the life I freely choose. This isn’t a how-to. Making its first appearance back in 1999, the Oxygen continues the legacy of being a proven and reliable freeride design. Sporting fresh new colours for the coming season, the updated Oxygen has a higher aspect ratio that allows for the use of a shorter boom. The mast length increase is balanced by the introduction of a closed sleeve head, replacing the previous plug fitting. Luff curves and leech configuration had been redesigned to offer more solid bottom end power and a higher range of trim possibilities.
