“What would you do if you could freely choose?” I took this picture of myself roughly 15 years ago. It was the day that I turned my life upside down. It was the moment I realized: staying in my 'old life' would hurt more than risking everything for the life I actually wanted. I have not regretted this decision. I surely have struggled on this path, but I’m still out here—still learning, still sailing, still choosing the unknown. Because this is the life I freely choose. This isn’t a how-to. Lies the Cape of Struga and lighthouse of the same name, built in 1839. This centuries-old lighthouse is perched atop a rocky outcrop and provides stunning views of the countryside below.
