The course is for novices and focuses on boating safety, NSW Boating regulations, low speed close quarters handling, navigation and seamanship, docking, an introduction to driving at planing speed and collision regulations. The course runs from 9am - 4pm and includes theory sessions and practical handling / skills work. We make sure you have enough practical boat skills to get your NSW General Boat License. Our vessels have the required safety gear, inflatable lifejackets and spray jackets for your use. Eastsails’ training vessels include: A custom built 8m tender with twin 115hp counter rotating outboard engines. An Arvor Weekender 23’ with an inboard 150hp engine bow thruster. A Haines Hunter 445R runabout with a 50hp 4 stroke outboard engine. Eastsail conducts this course in our classrooms or aboard the boats for practical sessions. We will show you through the 12m (40ft) Riviera 4000 Cruiser to ensure you understand what a larger cruiser looks like, the safety, engineering and interior space. Lunch break is for 30 minutes, food is not included but our marina has a cafe and toilets. A written quiz is given at the end of the day to assess your boating skills. La WINTER CUP è un percorso dall'alto contenuto tecnico costituito da 4 appuntamenti (4 fine settimana articolati su 3 allenamenti e 1 regata del calendario FIV), adatto a singoli ed equipaggi già in possesso di un'esperienza di base di vela che vogliono affinare le proprie capacità tecniche e di manovra in regata. Gli equipaggi combatteranno in regate di flotta su scafi classe Dolphin 81, monotipi studiati per un equipaggio di 5/6 componenti, scelti per la loro semplicità di conduzione e alte performance. La flotta è formata da 5 imbarcazioni gemelle perfettamente attrezzare da regata con 3 giri di vele e attrezzatura nuova del 2024. Base degli eventi sarà il Circolo Vela Gargnano sul Lago di Garda che assicura condizioni meteo ideali durante tutta la stagione invernale.

INTERNATIONAL FORMULA FOIL CLASS RACE "FLY EUROPEAN CUP LE MAILLY“ Regatta NEWs Race Season highlight on Lake Geneva - Formula Foil, iFLY international Summer Games 2023 The iFLY European Cup Le Mailly took place again this year on Lake Geneva in Versoix. The exclusive silver trophy of this thrilling race is a challenge cup and is passed on like the America’s Cup. This year from July 12th to 16th, ambitious sailors competed for the coveted trophy. The cup and 2023 title went to Raphael B. from Hong Kong. (Michael Miller, the manufacturer of the iFLY, had stepped back for fair play, as being fastest with the latest iFLY RAZZOR.) Second place went to Benjamin Firmenich, third to Gerhard Florin. The exciting spectacle took place in the breathtaking setting of the Mailly family estate of the Firmenich family, which has a long tradition in the sport of sailing. 9 races were sailed in great conditions between 5kts - 20kts and plenty of sunshine.
