I was at Catalina Harbor on the "Hawaii side" of Catalina Island about 25 miles off the coast from Los Angeles. As I walked towards the Pacific, the fog started to roll in off the ocean. It rolled past "the pregnant lady" ridge and up the canyon on the opposite side of the harbor. A very beautiful but eerie sit sight. For a sailing circumnavigation of the island, watch Cast Off for Catalina. https://youtu.be/FA1tw76momI
Smart sailing starts with smart choices!. Thinking of buying a charter cat? Skip the pre-owned ex-charter with four cabins and heads—you're in for costly surprises! Opt for an owner’s version with a private suite in one hull for better comfort & resale value. ⚓️✨ #Aeroyacht #multihulls #cruisinglife #catamarans #SailingLife #YachtOwnership #shorts
In the final leg of the deliver of Going to Red from Kilrush to Strangford we were once again blessed with clear but cold condition, the mid afternoon kill was once again warmed up by a visit from a pod of the most majestic marine mammals. A pod of around 25 Dolphins stayed and played on the bow for over 30 minutes, you can't help but get excited by these beautiful creatures. The warned us up for the final push up into Strangford Lough. Watching this back it reminds me why we need to do more to keep our seas clean and cool, allowing these animals to live and thrive for generations to come. Thanks for watching Bottom Up Boats latest production which shares some footage of the Dolphins in the Irish sea.
