I was at Catalina Harbor on the "Hawaii side" of Catalina Island about 25 miles off the coast from Los Angeles. As I walked towards the Pacific, the fog started to roll in off the ocean. It rolled past "the pregnant lady" ridge and up the canyon on the opposite side of the harbor. A very beautiful but eerie sit sight. Sept 22 2022 we ran aground after being adrift for 48hrs, we succumbed to hypothermia and fell asleep, we were rescued by the coast guard but lost our home :( this is us a week later salvaging what we could carry after a failed attempt to get it off the beach ourselves. #boating #washington #portangeles #dungeonessspit #yankee38 #shipwrecked #runaground #sailing #pugetsound
