Foi dada a largada para a 48ÂĒ Semana Internacional de Vela de Ilhabela, realizada entre os dias 24 e 31 de julho de 2021, no Yacht Club de Ilhabela (YCI), no litoral norte paulista. Neste sÃĄbado (24), velejadores e jornalistas se credenciaram para o evento, que conta com protocolo rÃgido de saÃēde por conta da pandemia Covid-19. As tripulaçÃĩes tambÊm aproveitaram para fazer os Ãēltimos ajustes em seus barcos para as primeiras regatas do evento. O grande encontro da modalidade conta com 80 barcos das principais classes de vela oceÃĸnica, como ORC, RGS, Mini Transat, Multicasco, Bico de Proa, ClÃĄssicos, C30 e HPE25. E, pela primeira vez, reÃēne regatas presenciais e virtuais, com as provas online feitas pelo aplicativo Virtual Regatta Inshore.
