While sailing though Vanuatu, we came across this massive 50m superyacht high and dry up on the reef. She had been shipwrecked during Cyclone Pam in 2015, and ever since then, it has been a struggle between owners, the government, and the local village as to who owns her, and what to do about it. The story was so intriguing that we filmed a documentary style video on the mystery surrounding the Blue Gold, and find out that in a week they were actually going to try drag her off the reef. 'Great Fun' is a Tiara 3200 Open with twin 8.1L Crusaders and is in great condition. This is a fantastic cruising package with the reputable Tiara brand. Recent upgrades include new dinghy and Yamaha 9.9 engine on Hurley davit system, all lights replaced with LED, new trim tab indicators, bus heater, and swim grid ladder installed. Anglers will enjoy the open deck layout, folding transom bench, and prep station complete with cutting board, sink, and fridge. At the helm you’ll find a double wide seat and Garmin navigation and radar. The passenger seat can change orientation to face the bow or to starboard. Skylights let light in through the hardtop. In the cabin, you’ll find beautiful finishes including Ultraleather, hardwood floors, and bright cabinetry. The galley includes stove top, fridge, sink, microwave and plenty of storage.
