🔴 Day 2 - Route du Rhum 2022 - from the boat

“Back at sea again! And it just feels like one of these days at the @vendeeglobe . Super tired, a little bit worried, I don’t know if I actually make it because I have some problems with the engine. I think it’s gonna be fine but we have only 1L of engine oil. We discovered some water in the engine. So last night already it took me a big effort to get the engine going a fuse was blown and there was something wrong inside the engine, so I had to take the … out and today then I found water in the engine. This is quite worrying because energy is super important. The noise you hear now is the hydro generator which has a problem with it’s barring I think. Yeah, there we are, back at sea. It’s a bit grey now, there was sun earlier, then it gets super nice and warm inside the boat. I haven’t slept yet really, I think maybe 5 or 10 minutes here and there, just trying to get this engine going and the boat clean, and lots of tacks, so now I will try to get some sleep and then the world will look better!”
