What's best - Swivel or Shackle?

UPDATE: We no longer use or recommend this swivel. We had serious corrosion problems when we got the Caribbean ( the swivel is 316Ti and doesn't do well in warm water) Also we had a problem with the pin backing out which may have been particular to our boat with the anchor slung under the bowsprit. However we were very unhappy with the way Ultra Marine West dealt with this issue so have switched to Mantus for our anchor gear.
