You never know exactly how your neighbors boat is going to swing and you can't be certain you dropped the hook in the perfect spot. Toss in a tight space, some hard concrete and gusting wind and you really need to keep an eye out for danger. We thought it was worth sharing this video to help people see how crazy living on a dock (or quay) can be. If the weather turns sour, sailors typically have to return to their boats and be prepared for anything. Rarotonga is known for being a difficult place for sailors to visit...and this is why.
