We Visit a Rainforest and Artisanal Market in Panama
On our Panama road trip, we visit a lush rainforest in Panama, exploring the vibrant jungle landscape and stunning waterfalls while learning about the incredible biodiversity of the region. As sailors and travel enthusiasts, we're always seeking new destinations to explore, and this Panama rainforest is a hidden gem for anyone interested in adventure and natural beauty. In this video, we also immerse ourselves in the local culture by visiting an artisanal market, where we learn about the traditional mola art form created by the indigenous Guna people of Panama. We're Bob and Kim and we set off in February 2024 from the U.S. to begin our dream of sailing around the world. After sailing through the Caribbean and transiting the Panama Canal, we're now getting ready for the 4000 nautical mile journey from Panama to French Polynesia.
