We unwrap our new Portland Pudgy and check out all the features.
So we got rid of our 200 pound rigid dinghy from our Gulfstar 44 Motorsailor. There are 3 reasons... it was too heavy to lift, we always got soaked on it and it would take water over the transom and start to sink in moderate conditions. We looked at lots of dinghies and choose the Portland Pudgy because it can row, sail, motor, keep us dry, and act as a lift raft. 0:00 Unwrapping 1:59 Bilge Pump & Manual (RTFM) 2:52 General Overview 4:36 Box to ship Pad back to factory 4:50 Cleat Locations 5:04 Fishing Pole holder Game! 6:11 Transom, Rudder holds, Rear storage 6:42 360 lite & Oars 8:06 Girl Lift Test 8:46 Our Old Dinghy (boss boats) 9:06 Electrical Panel 11:00 Beach Wheel 11:42 Dual person lift 12:05 Middle Seat 12:40 Front Bumper 14:00 360 Lite again 14:30 For animals too! 15:20 Oar locks 15:56 Weaver Davits 16:26 Pretend you're the Dinghy 18:58 Installing the Oars & Locks 21:14 Video got Ransomwared 22:36 Boarding the Dinghy 24:00 Dinghy Colors 25:50 Old dinghy memories 26:53 Boat plug 28:30 Compass
